Education Abroad Course Equivalencies

Education Abroad Course Equivalencies

Understanding how courses taken abroad will fit into your degree plan is an important part of the study abroad process. Many programs, especially direct enroll programs, will have many courses available for students to take to match their interests. However, it can be helpful to see what other students have taken abroad and the credits received at Binghamton University for the classes. Below you will find list of courses taken on different Binghamton University education abroad programs and how this course was shown on the Binghamton transcript. Students are always encouraged to speak with their academic advisor/department about going abroad. For any course taken abroad to come back to Binghamton as a specific Binghamton course the student will need signatures on their course recognition from either their academic adviser or academic department. Students should also look into courses offered at their program of interest as the lists below do not show all the options available to students abroad. If you have any questions, please email the program advisor for your program of interest or email
